Freight Elevators, Car Lifts & Dumbwaiters

A freight elevator is built for one purpose: moving heavy loads reliably, day after day, with no compromise on safety. Unlike a passenger lift, the priorities are capacity, platform durability and ease of loading — not speed or cabin luxury.

We supply goods lifts from a small 100 kg kitchen dumbwaiter to a 5-tonne industrial platform lift, plus car lifts for multi-storey parking. Each unit is selected by maximum load, item dimensions and usage frequency.

Heavy-duty freight elevator in an industrial warehouse

Scope of work

  • Freight elevators — 500 kg–5 tonne capacity, steel diamond-plate platform, folding or heavy-duty vertical doors.
  • Dumbwaiters — food/document lifts of 50–300 kg for restaurants, hotels, hospitals and offices.
  • Car lifts — for parking buildings and auto showrooms, 2,000–3,000 kg capacity.
  • Hydraulic lifts — an option for low rise with heavy loads and less frequent use.
  • Industrial protection — overload cut-off, platform guards and impact-resistant finishes for forklift areas.

Who it is for

Warehouses and distribution centres, factories and production areas, supermarkets and retail, restaurants and hotels (dumbwaiters), hospitals (goods/food lifts) and parking buildings. For Kalimantan's industrial and port areas, heavy-duty freight lifts are the backbone of vertical logistics.

Installation timeline

Dumbwaiters usually take 1–2 weeks; mid-size freight lifts 3–5 weeks once the unit arrives and the shaft is ready. Car lifts and 5-tonne platforms need more intensive civil coordination, so we schedule jointly with the structural contractor.

Safety standards & SNI

Our freight lifts follow SNI standards and Disnaker inspection, with clearly recorded load ratings and capacity signage. A freight lift must not carry people unless it is a certified goods-passenger type — we make sure the classification is correct from the start.

Maintenance & modernization

Heavy loads accelerate wear; a maintenance & service contract keeps chains, hydraulics and doors safe. Old freight lifts can have their controller and drive modernized for efficiency.

Freight & Goods Elevators — Common Questions

What is the difference between a freight and a passenger lift?
A freight lift prioritizes capacity and platform durability for heavy loads, with a simple impact-resistant cabin. A passenger lift focuses on speed, comfort and aesthetics. Freight lifts are not for carrying people unless they are a certified goods-passenger type.
What capacities are available?
From 50–300 kg dumbwaiters to 5-tonne industrial platform lifts. Car lifts are available at 2,000–3,000 kg. We size capacity to your heaviest load and item dimensions.
Is a dumbwaiter suitable for a restaurant?
Very much so — a 100–250 kg dumbwaiter moves food and dishes between floors quickly and hygienically, reducing staff traffic on stairs. Many hotels and hospitals use them too.
Hydraulic or traction — which is better for goods?
Hydraulic suits low rise (2–4 floors) with heavy loads and moderate use, and is more economical. Traction is more energy-efficient for intensive use and high rise. We recommend based on your usage profile.
